According to Alberto, this is a beautiful area, isolated and uncontaminated, and almost like stepping back in time a few centuries. It is certainly one of Italy’s least explored and poorest regions which is nevertheless producing some exciting wines. The low trained vineyards are situated on the volcanic slopes of Mt. Maturation: 40% of the wine is aged in barrels for a period of 10 months; later it staged in bottle for 3 months before the commercialization.Tasting notes: Bright reddish colour with violet reflections. This wine has a strong and aromatic integrity with reflections of black cherry, bitter cherry mixed with spices and vanilla.
