Happinez introduces the Nina Bench
Designed by Nina Farkache in 2001 for the Amsterdam based Droog’s collective.
Wanting to have people get closer, the “come a little closer” bench was designed so that when you sit on it, you cannot avoid making contact with the other person; the seats slide over the rolling marbles, which allows people to play, which in turn can bring them closer together.
This bench was built by local craftsmen Al and Kurtis Fanjoy. They used pine and maple, stainless steel, and marbles
